MIAMI (UPI) -- A manager of a Wendy's restaurant in Miami was recovering Tuesday from a gunshot wound to the left arm from a man who was enraged over extra chili sauce.
Just after midnight, a man with a female passenger pulled into the drive-through of the restaurant and got into an argument with the server over extra packets of chili sauce, Miami-Dade police told The Miami Herald.
The female attendant gave the man three and explained that was the maximum under company policy, but the man demanded 10, the Herald reported. When she complied, the man kept arguing, and the unidentified manager was summoned.
The driver then produced a gun and fired several times, striking the manager in the arm before speeding away, police said.
The injuries are not life threatening, the Herald said.
