Erie, PA— Here's a Halloween story, that may have gone too far.The Petsmart in Erie, Pennsylvania, held its annual costume contest on Tuesday night. Pet-owners can dress up their pets, even more so than they usually do.
But Debbie Bollinger brought her Clydesdale horse to the contest, all dressed up as a standard poodle. "Royal" is a 2,000-pound Clydesdale, and he didn't look all that happy about the evening. Debbie showed standard poodles for 25 years, and said it was the perfect way to bring it all together.
"Royal" wound up winning the contest, which turned into a real dog and pony show.
