Seven years ago yesterday, we lost one of hip-hop’s most vibrant and talented members. Big Punisher was an imposing figure, physically and lyrically, who commanded the respect and admiration of countless peers in the late 90’s bling era of hip-hop. The consummate songwriter, Pun possessed a knack for assembling words in a manner that pleased all different types of listeners across the country. It’s rare for an MC with such a heavy lyrical style to have the personality and quality that can actually move a crowd, but Pun pulled it off time and time again with the greatest of ease. Although he died far too soon, Pun left us with a collection of gems that will keep our heads nodding, lips quoting and feet moving long into the future. (Full Story)
