Three Manatee County residents face charges of child abuse and child neglect for allegedly giving alcohol to a 10-month-old boy.
Bradenton police say they have tape of the trio giving the baby alcohol. Police said another family member found the DVD of the drunken baby and turned it in out of concern for the child's welfare.
The 16-year-old mother is accused of holding the camera as her son repeatedly sips on gin and juice. Police haven't released the video.
Police say Heather Moore and John Bell, the baby's aunt and uncle, took part in the incident.
"This is a 10-month-old child," said Bradenton Police Department Maj. Bill Tokajer. "So there is no reason for it. There's no excuse that anybody can come up with. That is true neglect of your child to endanger the health of your child by giving him alcohol at such a young age. The damage is unknown what it can do to the liver at that age."
The baby is in police custody.
