Amazing how they can set this explosion so that its just strong enough to send all four guys flying through the air onto some landing mats but not too strong that it blows them the hell up.

This is a stunt rig. I know for a fact that they used a device called an air ram or air ramp. A hinged platform to pushes the performer up when he steps on it. The white smoke that erupts in front of the guys flying into the air is to hide the platform because when they are fully open they would be about 2 feet high and you would see then over the low bushes.
